HomeSmart Real Estate and its associated Escrow Smart (Escrow Company) are very unprofessional and not knowledgeable of real estate business. My husband and I were purchasing a Property and one of use had to be Quitclaimed into the title. This company was not knowledgeable of the process. It took a week and a half for our real estate agent to contact other escrow and title companies, other brokers, and finally legal service at the California Real Estate Association in order to force the broker to do a proper Quitclaim; not to mention that their personnel were trying to be shady in the process of having one of us sign some Quitclaim document and language that they put together with very illegal language in the document. I have purchased four properties before, and one of us has been knowledgeable of real estate business, realtors and title business for 15 years and we have never experience such unprofessional way of conducting business.
